About Online Banking

  1. Eligibility.

    To be eligible for access to Heartland Bank Direct's Online Banking, you must have a Heartland Bank Direct account that is in good standing. To open your account, simply click on "Open New Account" above.

  2. Equipment and Software.

    To access Online Banking, you will need an Internet connection and a secure, supported browser. Heartland Bank Direct is not responsible or liable for the performance or operation of equipment, hardware, software, Internet provider or Web browser or any part of them.

  3. Hours of Accessibility.

    You may access your eligible accounts through Online Banking seven days per week, 24 hours per day. There may be times when Heartland Internet Banking is temporarily unavailable due to end-of-day processing, record updating, or scheduled maintenance.

  4. Username and Password.

    You are responsible for keeping your Online Banking username and password confidential and account information confidential. If you believe your password has been lost, stolen, or misappropriated, we recommend that you CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD IMMEDIATELY by accessing User Options in Online Banking or by calling Customer Support at 877-444-5148.

    Heartland Bank Direct's Internet Banking system is for the use of authorized users only. Actual or attempted unauthorized use of this computer system will result in criminal and/or civil prosecution. We reserve the right to view, monitor and record activity on the system without notice or permission. Any information obtained by monitoring, reviewing or recording is subject to review by law enforcement organizations in connection with the investigation or prosecution of possible criminal activity on the system. If you are not an authorized user of this system you need to exit at this time.

  5. Electronic Fund Transfers.

    Funds transferred electronically using Heartland Bank Direct's Funds Transfer platform are available within 2 to 3 business days of completion and are subject to the limits below. "Send Money" refers to a service that allows for person-to-person electronic funds transfers. Heartland Bank reserves the right to modify these limits at its sole discretion and without prior notice.

    * Includes the day that the transfer is initiated as long as completion is before 5 p.m. Pacific Standard Time for Standard Transfers and 10 p.m. Pacific Standard Time for Premium Transfers.
    ** Rolling 30-day period beginning on the request date of each pending transaction

  6. Transaction Limitations.

    According to Federal Regulation D, you may not make more than six (6) electronic transfers or withdrawals from a savings or money market account to another deposit account or to a third party per monthly statement cycle.

  7. eStatement Cycles

    Heartland Bank Direct eStatements are made available through Online Banking on or around the 25th day of each month.

  8. Heartland Internet Banking Fees.

    There is no fee to use Heartland Bank's Internet Banking.
